Therefore, the processing of personal data of our customers as well as business partners is carried out in accordance with the applicable legislation for the protection of personal data and data security. 2. legal bases and purposes of processing

In the course of our business activities and thus for purposes of providing the services we offer, in particular in the context of providing advertising and marketing services, we may process your name and contact details (in particular address, e-mail address and telephone number, please see point 3) for the purpose of fulfilling (pre-)contractual obligations according to Art 6 para 1 lit b DSGVO. This also includes the initiation of a contract or contact by means of the contact options offered or by e-mail in order to be able to process your request accordingly.

If we do not have a direct (pre-)contractual relationship with you, we process your contact data (in particular address, e-mail address and telephone number, please see point 3) for an overriding legitimate interest pursuant to Art 6 para 1 lit f DSGVO for the purpose of business communication and customer care.

For the assertion, defense or exercise of any legal claims and due to statutory retention obligations, we are entitled to process your data in case of cause even for a corresponding period after completion of the provision of our contractual services. This case-related processing is based on Art 6 para 1 lit c and lit f DSGVO.

Your data will not be further processed in a manner incompatible with these purposes.

The data processing is carried out exclusively for the purposes indicated.

4. data processing in connection with the visit of our website

When you visit our website, the Internet browser used on your terminal device automatically sends data to the server of our website. This information is stored temporarily (two weeks) in a so-called log file, whereby storage of this data together with other personal data of the user does not take place.

The following data is stored until automated deletion:

  • Information about the browser type and version used
  • The operating system of the user
  • The Internet service provider of the user
  • The IP address of the user
  • Date and time of access
  • Websites from which the user’s system accesses our Internet site
  • Subpages and functions that the user accesses
  • Websites that are called up by the user’s system via our website

The aforementioned data will be processed exclusively for the following purposes:

  • To ensure the operational security of our website
  • For purposes of statistical analysis, without the possibility of assignment to a specific person
  • For troubleshooting and finding possible errors

6. social media plugins

Social media plugins are embedded on our website, which lead to our social media profiles. When you click on a corresponding social media icon, data is transmitted to third parties (the respective social media service). After opening the social media service, we have neither influence on the use of cookies nor access to data collected there.

We use plugins from the following social media services:

  • LinkedIn
  • Instagram
  • Facebook

7. storage period of personal data

We naturally also follow the principle of memory limitation, among other things. This means that we generally only store your personal data for as long as is necessary for the processing purposes under point 2 or due to legal requirements. In addition, your personal data will be stored within the scope of our statutory retention obligations.

8. your rights

You have the following rights regarding the personal data concerning you. To exercise them, simply send us a letter containing a specific request:

8.1. Right to information

Should you wish, you can at any time request information on the origin, categories, storage period, recipients, the purpose of the data we process about you and the nature of your processing.

8.2. Right to rectification/completion

If we process your data incorrectly or incompletely due to certain circumstances, you can request us to correct or complete this data.

8.3. Right to erasure (“right to be forgotten”)

Under certain conditions, you as the data subject may request the immediate deletion of your personal data. These requirements are:

  • The personal data is no longer necessary for the purposes for which we collected it.
  • You have revoked your consent.
  • Your personal data have been processed unlawfully.
  • Due to a legal obligation under Union law or Austrian law, deletion must be carried out.

8.4. Right to restriction of processing

As a data subject, you may request the restriction of processing under the following conditions:

  • If you dispute the accuracy of the personal data we process. Since we need 2 to 3 weeks to verify the accuracy, processing will be restricted for this period.
  • If the processing of personal data concerning you is unlawful, you have refused to have the data erased and instead you request restriction of use.
  • If we no longer need your personal data to fulfill the purpose, but you need this data to assert, exercise or defend legal claims.
  • If you object to the processing pursuant to Article 21 para. 1 DSGVO have objected. However, only until it is determined whether our legitimate interests in processing outweigh your interests.

We will consider the reasons you give for the restriction. If it should result from this that the prerequisites for a restriction do not (or no longer) exist, we are entitled to cancel this restriction. Before this cancellation, we will of course inform you.

8.5. Right to data portability

If you are interested in obtaining the data you have provided to us, we will be happy to provide it in a structured, common and machine-readable format.

In addition, you have the right to transfer this data to another person in charge.

Insofar as this is technically feasible for us, you may also instruct us to transfer your data directly to another data controller.

8.6. Right of objection

If the processing of your data by us is based on Art 6 para 1 lit f DSGVO (legitimate interest), you may object to the processing at any time.

8.7. Revocation of consent to data processing

As a data subject, you have the right to revoke any consent you may have given to us at any time. Please note, however, that this revocation does not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out on the basis of the consent up to the revocation and that we may be entitled or obligated to process certain personal data on the basis of legal requirements for a period extending beyond the time of the revocation.

8.8. Right of appeal

If you believe that the processing of personal data concerning you violates data protection law, you may lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority, without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy. In Austria, the complaint must be filed with the Austrian data protection authority.
